Many nursing homes have trouble finding skilled nursing assistants to work in their facility, so they often offer their training courses for free, with the nursing assistant signing a contract to work for the facility for a certain period to pay back the fee. This is an excellent way for someone who could not otherwise afford the training to enter the field. The Red Cross offers certified nursing assistant training nationwide in many cities for reasonable tuition.

 

 

Since certified nursing assistants are in such high demand, you should have no trouble locating employment after completing your training course and passing your exam. Many nursing assistants make a very good wage of at least ten dollars per hour. So, if you enjoy caring for others, you might want to get the necessary training to become a nursing assistant.
